Subscribing to Device Alerts (Legacy)
Subscribing to devices allows you to receive alerts for those devices.
This article applies to versions of BloodCOMM below v3.2.0, and is not applicable to version 3.2.0 and above. See https://info.deltadevteam.com/bloodcomm#alerts for updated help articles
Alerts are only monitored for devices you are Subscribed to. If a device has an excursion (for example), and you are not subscribed to that device, you will not receive an alert.
The Alert settings page and the "When will notifications occur?" dialog will list the number of devices you are subscribed to. If you are not subscribed to any devices, several warnings will be present.
How to subscribe to alerts?
For both Bluetooth and Cloud devices, simply navigate to the Device Manager page and toggle the Alerts switch for that device.

Alert Toggle greyed out?
Tap or hover on the greyed out toggle to see why you are not able to subscribe to alerts. Note that on mobile devices there are two tabs at the top to view Bluetooth or Cloud devices.
- APRU devices and some older ICE units are not eligible for Bluetooth Alerts.
- Alerts may not be enabled for your account.
- The Cloud license for that device may have expired.
- The device may be disabled or otherwise not have a Cloud license.
