Archiving
The archive page allows for a static snapshot of the data to be saved for future reference.
Report Archiving is only available for Bluetooth reports.
Whenever data is downloaded via Bluetooth, a copy of the data is stored in the Bluetooth Archive. This allows users to access historical data and load snapshots of data.
When downloading data via bluetooth, downloaded data is stored locally to the phone or tablet which downloaded the data. This data is not uploaded to the cloud or accessible from other devices.
Each time data is downloaded, the new data points are added to the existing local database, building up a "master" log which is able to preserve a comprehensive history of the device's data over time. This database is called the "Bluetooth Archive" - see below for more information.
Archiving a "Static" report copy is useful for saving a period of time during a known event, such as a shipment or storage period. The archive will only include data between the specified date range, and will not be updated with new data.
Accessing Archives
Archives are stored in the "Archives" section of the Dashboard page. To access an archive, expand the device you wish to access, and select the archive to load.
