Organizations

BloodCOMM organizations are the central management system with which BloodCOMM users and devices are associated.

What is an Organization?

An Organization is a unique identifier assigned to each company or group within BloodCOMM, which controls:

  • User Access
  • User Permissions
  • Team Management
  • Device Management
  • Subscription Management
  • ...and more!

Organization IDs are generated by BloodCOMM Support the first time a Cloud-enabled device is brought online. If you do not have an Organization ID, please contact your management first, prior to contacting BloodCOMM Support.

If you would like to join the Demo Organization and see how BloodCOMM works, please enter the following Organization ID when signing up, or on the settings page:
00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

Do we need an Organization?

Organizations are used to group users and devices, as well as manage BloodCOMM subscriptions.

A Subscription is not required to make an organization, but an organization is required in order to activate a new Subscription.

Is there a cost to have an Organization?

No, Organizations are free to users. There are no costs associated with adding users or devices to an organization. Subscription fees are associated with the number of devices that are actively monitored, and are not related to the number of users or teams within an organization.

Can my Organization ID be changed?

No, Organization IDs are unique and cannot be changed.
