Blood Bank Remote Access

Blood Bank Remote Access allows blood banks to securely access and manage their customers' BloodCOMM-enabled devices and Blood Bags remotely

What is Blood Bank Access

Blood Bank access allows for verified blood banks to remotely monitor all devices and blood units which have been fielded by their client Organizations.

This means that blood banks can have visibility into the status of devices and blood bags that are being used by all of their clients simultaneously, without needing to be added to each individual client's Organization.

Blood Bank Access is FREE to all verified blood banks which have clients utilizing BloodCOMM Premium. If you are a blood bank and would like to gain access to this feature, please contact BloodCOMM Support.

How do I grant access to my Blood Bank?

Contact BloodCOMM Support with the name of your blood bank and the primary contact information for your Blood Bank. Delta Development team will verify that your blood bank is a legitimate institution and will require written consent from all participating parties to enable data sharing.

What data is accessible?

Read Only:
Blood Banks will have read-only access to all device temperature statuses. Including realtime status, historic temperature data, and the option to subscribe to alerts & notifications.

Read-Write Access:
Blood Banks will automatically have read-write access to all blood bags registered by linked organizations. If the blood bank submits a Blood Event, the event will be marked as performed by a Blood Bank.

Note that blood bag Archiving is on a per-organization basis, which means you can archive blood bags as soon as you're complete with them, without affecting your linked organization's visibility.

Restricted Access:
Blood Banks do NOT receive access to any device GPS information or user information, with the exception of the names of which user submitted each event.
