BloodCOMM Accounts

BloodCOMM accounts are used to access BloodCOMM cloud.

A BloodCOMM account is only required for Online, Cloud device access. If you are accessing via Bluetooth only, you do not need to create an account, and may access devices on an Android or iOS device using "Bluetooth Only Mode".

What is a BloodCOMM Account?

With a BloodCOMM account, you can:

  • Join an organization and access approved devices remotely.
  • Manage your organization, teams, and devices.
  • Sync settings and across multiple devices.
  • Enable automated alerts and notifications.
  • ...and more!

Creating an Account & Signing In

BloodCOMM Accounts can be created by visiting the BloodCOMM website, or by using the BloodCOMM mobile app. Multiple authentication methods are available. If you're unsure which authentication methods are allowed for your organization, enter your email address on the login page, and the system will automatically detect which authentication methods are available.

Single Sign-On (SSO) / SAML

If your organization has set up Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML, you must use your existing organizational credentials to log in. You do not need to create a separate BloodCOMM account. Instead, you will authenticate using your organization's SSO provider.

  • Go to the BloodCOMM app or website.
  • Enter your organization's email address and click 'Continue'.
  • If your organization is setup for SSO, a button will appear with the name of your authentication provider.
  • Click the SSO button, and you will be redirected to your organization's login page. Enter your organizational credentials to log in.
  • Once logged in you will be redirected back to the app and logged in automatically.
Google Sign In
 

Google sign in is available for any @gmail.com or Google Workspace account. Your account will be created automatically when you sign in with Google for the first time.

Please note that your Google profile picture will be used as your avatar in BloodCOMM when you sign in with Google.

  1. Go to the BloodCOMM app or website.
  2. Click on 'Sign in with Google'.
  3. Select the Google account you want to use, or enter your Google credentials if prompted.
  4. Once authenticated, your BloodCOMM account will be created automatically and you will be logged in.
Email & Password
  • Go to the BloodCOMM app or website and click on "Create Account".
  • Enter your email, name, and a secure password, then click 'Create Account'
  • A verification email will be sent to your email. Please click the link in the email to verify, then return to the app.
  • Enter the 36-digit Organization ID (as is, including all hyphens) and click "Request Access".
  • Once logged in you will be presented with the Organization page. It will show 'Pending' until you are approved by an admin.
  • Once an admin approves you, you will be able to access the devices in your organization.

Account Security

BloodCOMM uses standard HTTPS protocols and is ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 certified. Additionally our user Authentication and Storage systems are ISO 27017 and ISO 27018 certified.

All stored data is encrypted via 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard.

Personal Information

BloodCOMM directly stores your name, email, and phone number for usage within the application. Personal information is secured with access limited to within your Organization.
Generic user analytics are also collected, including basic device information so that we can provide better service.
